Who’s behind A Heart’s Baked Desire?
Growing up, A Heart’s Baked Desire founder Teana Jenkins, held an immense passion for baking. As a little girl, the kitchen was a place for her to feel free and safe. As she grew older, the kitchen became her sanctuary, helping her to maintain the balance she needed throughout her life. As life began to provide situational growth, her relationship with baking grew stronger and she decided to share the love she put into her baked goods, with those around her. She hopes that as you bite into one of those delicious treats, you will experience the same joy and balance baking has brought her during her own processes. Baking has always been her passion and through that, she also discovered her second love: helping children. Teana received her Bachelors of Science from the illustrious Tuskegee University, and is currently in the Master’s of Child Life Program at the University of La Verne.

Delivery
No matter where you’re located in Los Angeles County or the Inland Empire, we will come to you! Be sure to include the location, time, and date of the delivery during the ordering process, and your desserts will be brought to you, right on time, for a small delivery fee.
Baking Party
Set up a baking party for groups between 6-10 kids. The baking party will be a time for the children to learn new recipes and baking techniques. Included in the package, are custom aprons, pipping bags and tips, buttercream frosting, cake toppers of choice, flavored cupcakes of choice, custom Take home Boxes, and 2 dozen cupcakes finished product.
Baking Therapy
Therapeutic activity can come in many forms. For some, it’s in the form of baking. A Heart’s Baked Desire has developed a technique that will bring you to a place of peace and rest as you learn a new recipe, techniques, and go through the baking process with Teana. Baking offers a therapeutic encounter that can provide experiences of success and promote improved functioning.
